TINTURA NATURALE con erbe, cortecce, radici, bacche raccolte nell’ambiente montano.

Imparare le tecniche base della tintura naturale per poter tingere utilizzando le piante che crescono in Valle, così da conoscerle ed apprezzarle di più e non dover ricorrere a coloranti e processi chimici dannosi per l’ambiente.

An introductory course to NATURAL FABRIC DYING.

"The discussion of natural fabric dyeing can be seen through different aspects: the application of specific and already collected formulas; the experimentation with new empirical formulas; the use of natural fibers and easily accessible materials; the location of effective dying materials and the search for natural fibers, the coloring of wool and silk in a harmonious fashion, the fun of working hands-on and creating a small and resourceful area of expertise to move freely in and use as a base for further exploration.
I would like to discuss all of these different facets with a course grounded in the concrete aspects of fabric dying and its general procedures, in order to make and express ourselves with colors".
